Support to the peace processSweden supports projects that enable Israeli and Palestinian representatives to establish a dialogue, and exchange experience and knowledge through seminars, workshops and informal meetings.
Democracy and Human RightsSweden's human rights support goes mainly to a number of Palestinian and Israeli NGOs and is channelled through the Swedish section of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ-S). Support is also given to the Palestinian Independent Commission for Citizen's Rights (PICCR). Since 1994 some 65 courses have been held for Palestinian civil police in forensic science, the organisation of forensic departments, traffic surveillance, international law, human rights, and management training for women police officers. Civil police chiefs have undergone management training in Sweden.
