Swedish design seems to be hotter than ever, as more and more of the nation's designers are gaining notoriety and success all over the world.At the same time as renowned manufacturing companies are expanding their distribution, a new generation of freshly graduated artists are being hailed by the international design media and promoted in worldwide exhibitions.Swedish By Design treats ICFF visitors to a slice of this energetic environment by bringing in some of the leading Swedish manufacturers to show their most exciting products in a striking setting. The exhibition booth features flooring by Pergo and its design was commissioned by Bradley Quinn, the project's creative director, from Toshiko Mori and selected graduate students at Harvard Graduate School of Design. The showcase will feature innovative new furniture from leading modern manufacturers such as Blå Station, Swedese, David Design, Källemo, Nola and Lyx and lighting fixtures by Men At Work, Form Nasielsky and Brighthandle.
