Annika Larsson was born in 1972 in Stockholm and graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in 2000. She currently lives and works in New York. Her work has been featured all over the world, including solo exhibitions in Paris, London, Milan, Prague and Copenhagen, as well as group shows in Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Budapest, Istanbul, Moscow, Mexico City, Seoul, Los Angeles and San Francisco.In these two video compositions, Larsson develops her interest in overt obsession and addresses the potency of aesthetic codes, imagery and manipulation.
