The Swedish State Secretary Ms. Lotta Fogde arrived yesterday for a one day visit to Tanzania.
Ms. Fogde will hold discussions with the Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr. Juma Ngasongwa and representatives of the private sector. She will also meet with the visiting delegations to the SADC Special Meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Trade and Industry, Botswana and Zambia.
The discussions will focus on international trade and the WTO negotiations post Cancún, as well as on the local business climate; the opportunities and obstacles for increased exports.
