World premiere: Klas Torstensson's Arcadia 1689
The Swedish composer Klas Torstensson's latest work, Arcadia 1689, is being performed in the Netherlands in March, at Concertgebouw, for the first time ever.
Klas Torstensson wrote Arcadia 1689 after being inspired by texts over the Swedish queen Christina. The work is commissioned by NTR ZaterdagMatinee.
The event also includes works by Verdi and Pizzetti.
