Sweden's Consulate in Belmopan, Belize
Sweden's ambassador in Guatemala City is also accredited before the government in Belmopan, Belize.
The Swedish Consulate in Belmopan is subordinated to the Embassy in Guatemala City. The Honorary Consul's name is Emile Eugene Mena. Personnel at the Consulate do not speak Swedish which means communication should be in English.

The Consulate does offer some consular services to Swedish citizens, but it is actually the Embassy in Guatemala City that has the overriding responsibility with regards to all consular services.

Application for regular Swedish passports
For regular passport applications you should book an appointment and travel to the Embassy in Guatemala City. Being a passport authority it is only the Embassy has equipment to collect fingerprins. More details on how to apply may be found by clicking here:

Swedish citizens or people with a permanent residence permit in Sweden that end up in very serious emergency situation, which they aren't able to solve themselves through contact with family members or the travel agent, may beyong office hours contact the Ministry for Foreign Affairs by calling the Embassy's switchboard number +502 2384 7300 and dialing zero (0) to be transferred to Stockholm.
For queries that are not urgent, please call the Embassy during regular office hours. Queries that are not urgent will not be answered by the consular office in Stockholm.
