Important information about submission of visa applications



The current technical issues for submitting a visa application at VFS Global are still not solved. The Embassy temporarily accept submissions directly at the Embassy.

Appointments at the Embassy can only be scheduled through VFS Global. 

An appointment will firsthand be offered to those applicants who booked an appointment with VFS Global in the beginning of April, but has not been able to submit their application due to the technical issues.

If you have not been contacted by VFS Global yet about a new appointment at the Embassy, please e-mail them.

If there are still available slots after this, new applicants may be offered an appointment by VFS Global.

If you are travelling for the purpose of tourism you will not be offered an appointment at the Embassy, regardless of if you had an appointment before or not. You will have to wait for VFS Global’s booking system to restart again.

If you have been offered an appointment at the Embassy 

- You have to be present at the Migration Section 15 minutes prior to your appointed slot.

- You have to provide the full set of documents, otherwise we cannot accept your application.

- The Embassy cannot offer any extra services as VFS Global (copying/printing, form filling, courier etc).

- The processing period is about 15 days from date of submission. If the Embassy requests additional information, it may take longer.

- Ready passports can be picked up without appointment during the Migration Section’s opening hours: Monday-Friday, 09.00-11.00.

If you cannot come to your appointment, inform VFS Global immediately so that they can offer this slot to someone else!
