Trade with Sweden
Sweden is placed 10th according to the total foreign direct investments in Croatia between 1993 and the first quarter of 2012. Total Swedish FDI in Croatia during that period amounted to € 610 million.
A number of Swedish companies are active on the Croatian market. The latest arrivals include H&M, Securitas and IKEA, who are now in the company of many others that have been present in Croatia for a long time, such as ABB, Electrolux, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Sandvik, Scania, SKF, Ytong, Tetra Pak, and Volvo Trucks, just to name a few.
Swedish exports to Croatia for the year 2011 amounted to € 132,102,000, which was +2.5% higher than for the year 2010. At the same time, Croatian exports to Sweden during 2011 amounted to € 45,616,000, which represented a decrease of -0.4% compared with 2010.
