Ten Year Anniversary Program

In 2006, House of Sweden opened its doors on the Georgetown waterfront in Washington, DC as the flagship of Sweden's public diplomacy in the United States. Since then, House of Sweden has been the proud home to the Embassy’s public diplomacy theme programs.

Over the last ten years, the Embassy has arranged more than 210 seminars, 110 concerts, 80 exhibitions and 35 family days embracing a holistic and integrated strategy for Sweden promotion as politics, culture, trade and research have been combined to reinforce each other. This anniversary year the Embassy will highlight TEN focus areas:

Seminars and discussions on the TEN topics will be arranged and exciting exhibitions are open to the public.
