Folk trio Skaran plays Swedish traditional tunes along with its own compositions bursting with attitude and joy. The explosive trio charms audiences around the world with their fascinating instruments, contagious groove, and energetic presence, and is one of Sweden's most popular folk bands right now.

Emilia Amper is one of the leading players of the nyckelharpa, or “keyed fiddle”, a traditional Swedish instrument. She won the 2010 Nyckelharpa World Championship, won the Spellemannsprisen (the Norwegian Grammy) and was nominated for two American Grammy Awards together with the Trondheim Soloists, Gjermund Larsen and 2L. She is nominated for the Swedish Grammy 2012 for her first solo album Trollfågeln. Jonas Bleckman's masterful and energetic cello playing has made him one of the most sought after cellists on the Scandinavian folk scene. Originally from Brittany, France, Anna Roussel is a wooden flute virtuoso and composer who masters both Breton and Swedish folk music.
