On the 20 th of April there was a Sustainable Fika (Swedish-style coffee break with cakes, etc.) hosted by the Swedish Ambassador together with the top 10 winners of the SDG14 video competition. The winners were honored by the attendance of HRH Crown Princess Victoria. The smart robot Pepper joined in the fika and asked questions to Crown Princess about the UN's Global Sustainable Development Goals. The competition jurors made up of embassy staff and external experts decided on the top two prize winners: Ms Yukari Sugawara, and the kids’ group 4 Sushi (Ms Filippa Johansson, Ms Irma Johansson, Mr Riku Kato and Ms Yuumi Inai) .
There were no fewer than 30 contestants from home and abroad, even from Sweden and Peru. The varied assortment of films ranged from quasi-documentaries and activity presentations to themes such as sustainable farming and fishing practices, and even included some story telling.
The prize gifts were donated by seafood companies participating in the SeaBOS initiative and a Swedish furniture company which sells sustainable products.
