The promotion of gender equality is a key component of development cooperation work in Albania. Since 1998, we have supported gender equality causes including combatting gender-based violence, strengthening women’s representation, and empowerment of girls and women. Partners receiving Swedish support have commissioned various publications and reports related to gender equality. The Embassy is hereby presenting an online collection of selected publications in order to make the knowledge and experience gained accessible to the general public and in particular to young students and researchers. The collection will be updated continuously.  The Embassy is currently working on an Action Plan for the Integration of Gender Equality in the development cooperation work based on the targets of the Swedish Development Cooperation for 2016-2018. This online collection consists of publications related to gender equality that partners have produced in the framework of Sida funded programmes.
