Iranians nominated to The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award
The jury for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), the world's largest children's book award, has presented its nominees for the 2013 award. In total 207 living writers, oral storytellers, illustrators or active reading promoting organisations from 67 countries have been nominated and among them six Iranians.
The nominees from Iran are the following:

Ahmad Reza Ahmadi, Author
Donya Children's Research Institute
Farshid Mesghali, Illustrator
Tourhan Mirhadi, Promoter of reading
Mustafa Rahman'dust - Author
The recipient or recipients of the 2013 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award will be presented on the 26th of March 2013.
