European Days in Georgia
European Days in Georgia are taking place from 08-24 May with events all over the country.
The EU Delegation to Georgia, in partnership with the embassies of European Union Member States, will organize, starting from May 8th a series of open-to-public cultural and entertaining events all around Georgia.
A programme at the Swedish tent :
12:00 till 13:30 Swedish Music Quiz. The winners will be announced on our fb page and awarded!
14:00 till 15:00 Drawing contest for children together with Orbeliani project funded by Sida . The traffic safety exhibition and visibility presentation presented by the Embassy staff.
15:30-16:00 Award ceremony for the winners of the drawing contest on the stage/brief presentation on the topic of Vision Zero& Zebra crossing.
16:30-17:30- Vision Zero presentation/exhibition
The European Days start in Tbilisi, on Sunday, 8 May, with the big celebration of the Europe Day at Rike Park featuring the Eurovillage and Live concert of European and Georgian stars.
The Eurovillage opens at the Rike Park and will feature EU country stands, theatrical and musical performances, food court, Tbilisi Zoo corner, kids's shows, games and prizes. The highlight of the Day is live evening concert featuring famous Georgian and European performers.
From 7pm, Rike Park heats up with live concert, free to all visitors of the Rike Park. The highlight of the evening concert is the performance of the Georgian national ballet, Sukhishvilebi. The Sukhishvilebi will lit the stage with the fiery Georgian dances to celebrate the Europe Day.
The highlights of the free evening concert are Eurovision stars Nina Sublatti and the band “Eldrine,” the band “Niutone,” Italian tenor Pierro Mazzocchetti, who is on his first visit to Georgia, and Georgian soprano Irina Taboridze.
