The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra is among the elite of European orchestras. The orchestra is known for its prized recordings and impressive tours, and as an orchestra of the Nobel Prize ceremonies. In Estonia, highly remarkable musicians stand in front of the orchestra: Sakari Oramo is the principal conductor of both this orchestra, as well as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Dutch star violinist Janine Jansen will be performing Tchaikovsky’s beloved violin concerto on her Stradivarius.
