Lucia is a very special cultural tradition celebrated in Sweden on December 13, St. Lucia Day.  Boys and girls of all ages dress up as Lucia maidens and star boys in white nightgowns, carrying candle light. They visit people's homes and churches to sing and bring light at a time when Sweden is at its darkest.

Below are some of the Swedish Lucia and Christmas events taking place in the Bay Area this holiday season.
