LITERATURE: Swedish Authors Jonas Hassen Khemiri and Erik Axl Sund duo at the Bay Area Book Festival

The third annual Bay Area Book Festival will take place in downtown Berkeley on June 3 and June 4, 2017. There are several Nordic authors participating, among them Swedish authors Jonas Hassen Khemiri and Erik Axl Sund duo (Håkan Axlander Sund and Jerker Eriksson). 

Jonas Hassen Khemiri lives in Stockholm and his first novel "Ett öga rött", was the bestselling paperback in Sweden of any category in 2004. He is also the author of "Everything I Don’t Remember", among other novels, as well as six plays, and a collection of plays, essays, and short stories. His work has been translated into over 20 languages and his plays have been performed by over 100 international theater companies.

Erik Axl Sund, the Swedish author duo Jerker Eriksson (b. 1974) and Håkan Axlander Sundquist (b. 1965), wrote “The Crow Girl”, “The Hunger Fire”, and “The Pythia’s Instructions” forming the highly praised and internationally best-selling trilogy about Victoria Bergman.
