FILM: Citizen Schein at the SF Jewish Film Festival

The Swedish film Citizen Schein will be featured at the 37th annual San Francisco Jewish Film Festival that will take place July 20 – August 6, 2017 in the Bay Area.

The documentary ‘Citizen Schein’ tells the true story of Harry Schein, a Jewish war refugee who arrived alone in Sweden at the age of 14. He became Sweden’s “intellectual playboy” and one of Sweden’s most influential public figures in the post-war era. Harry Schein was no ordinary cultural profile or businessman. He was a powerful and glamorous player, who navigated his way through the most elite circles and married world renowned actress Ingrid Thulin.
