The Government presented its proposed budget for 2013 to the Riksdag on September 20. The Government considers there is scope to spend approximately SEK 23 billion on reforms next year and proposes investments in primarily five different areas: growth and competitiveness, more people into work, stable financial system, welfare for all and more equitable distribution, and a more effective energy, climate and environmental policy.
