Raoul Wallenberg Day in Vancouver January 15

Join the Wallenberg Day January 15 to pay tribute to Doctors without Borders (MSF). Each year the Wallenberg Day in Vancouver pays tribute to the courageous actions by people engaged in selfless acts of civil courage in the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg who rescued thousands of Jews during World War II.  

The movie "Access to the Danger Zone" will be shown which portrays the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid in armed conflicts. The film explores the strategies MSF use to save lives in the world's war zones. Dr Joseph Copeland, a BC Children's Hospital emeregency physician with vast field experience will introduce the film and share his own experiences from the MSF frontline work.
