The Toronto LGBT Film Festival in Toronto is showcasing three Swedish films this year: Alena, Girls Lost and Kiki.

Alena: based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Kim W. Andersson, Alena is a high school love story that is dark and twisted in all the right places.

Girls Lost: a tender coming-of-age film that is enveloped in supernatural allure.

Kiki: Kiki follows seven vibrant, inspiring characters from New York's LGBTQ community, using their preparations and spectacular performances at events known as Kiki Balls as a way to frame their battles with homelessness, illness and prejudice.
