EXHIBITION: TIFF DigiPlay Space, Toronto

TIFF will bring families on an interactive adventure this spring with the digiPlaySpace exhibition. Showcasing 25 installations from nine countries, digiPlaySpace 2016 is all about learning through play, collaborative discovery, open exploration, and accessibility, designed to stimulate imaginations and inspire a lifelong passion for creativity and invention.

Come see Swedish Simone Giertz invention: The Toothbrush Machine, a revolutionary way of brushing your teeth, where you can sit back, relax, and let a robot arm do the job.

The Toothbrush Machine consists of a skateboard helmet, a MeArm robot arm, an Arduino UNO microcontroller with a servo motor shield, and a simple toothbrush — and is inspired by laziness and disregard for dental hygiene. Just sit back, relax, and let the robot arm do the job!

When: March 5 – April 24, 2016
Where: TIFF Bell Lightbox Reitman Square, 350 King St. West, Toronto.
