EXHIBITION: Free lectures on Vikings in Ottawa

Gunnar Andersson, Senior Curator at the Swedish History Museum will come to Ottawa to hold a lecture where he will talk about the exhibition that has attracted over 1.3 million visitors worldwide. Dr. Celine Leduc from University of Ottawa will hold a separate lecture on the Female Aska Pendant.

What do we really know about the Vikings? Knowledge of the Vikings, their societies and their worlds has changed as a result of recent archaelogical discoveries. Hear Gunnar Andersson, Senior Curator at the Swedish History Museum talk about the exhibition that aims to dispel old myths and stereotypes while presenting stories visitors could recognize.
