The Swedish choreographer Claire Parsons visits New York Victory Theater between November 10 and 19, with Marmalade – a playful circus act for all the senses made for the youngest theatergoers.

Dancer Mira Björkman and juggler Viktor Gyllenberg explore their world through body, eye, feeling and taste in a room with fluffy skirts, soft circus and Fellini music . What can Marmalade be? Maybe a cherry, pear, fig or upside down and together?

Claire Parsons Co. has performed the piece over 300 times, touring in Europe, Asia and the U.S. In 2015, the show was awarded the Swedish Theater Critic’s Dance Prize, which was the first time a show for the young audiences was awarded the price. The same year Marmalade was played in Dupont Circle Park in New York City, as part of the Sweden in the Park series.
