Business Sweden helps Swedish companies to grow internationally. This entity provides necessary services to establish a company and its products, services or ideas in new markets. The office in Johannesburg, South Africa, handles the Mozambican market.
Swedfund provides venture capital, expertise and financial support for investments in emerging markets. Since 2009 Swedfund is represented in Africa through its office in Nairobi, Kenya.
EKN, the Swedish Council for Export Credits, can also assist exports to Mozambique. EKN was commissioned by the Swedish government to promote Swedish exports and the internationalisation of Swedish companies. By insuring export companies and banks against the risk of non-payment in export transactions, it enables companies to conduct more secure export transactions. Their activities are financed by the guarantee holders' premiums.
