International Training Programmes

International Training Programmes are organised and sponsored by Sida. Their aim is to provide and offer professional training within a variety of subjects.

Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) each year offers a variety of different International Training Programmes (ITP). The courses are given on advanced level and a specifically tailored at professionals with work experience.

Together with various organisations and government bodies, Sida funds the training and gives participants not only the possibility to deepen their knowledge and eduction but also to create a network and interact with other foreign participants.

ITP courses include areas such as management, environmental- and energy-related issues, capital markets and capital management.

As a partner country to Sida, Zambians and Zambian organisations are allowed to register and apply for most of the ITP.

For specific information on ITP visit Sidas webpage. If you need more information on how to apply, send an e-mail to ambassaden.lusaka@gov.se and state ITP clearly as the subject of the e-mail.

Sida also offers other courses in collaboration with the Swedish Institute and Sida Partnership Forum.

If you have been accepted for an ITP, please do not forget to consult the Swedish Migration Agency for a visa for studying in Sweden.
