Chamber of Commerce

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK was founded in 1906 and is an independent, non profit making networking organisation.

It provides a forum for Members to exchange business ideas, experiences and, ultimately, products and services. The Chamber is funded entirely by its Members and the revenue generated by activities arranged by the Chamber

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most active foreign Chambers in the United Kingdom.

Today the Chamber has approximately 400 Member companies, representing not only Swedish interests but also British and European organisations interested in strengthening their existing ties with Sweden and the UK or expanding to a new market.

To further facilitate networking and matchmaking, the Chamber hosts over seventy events annually, ranging from social events (such as the Christmas Luncheon and the Crayfish Party), networking and drinks receptions, seminars and briefings and company visits.

Being a Member of the Chamber is an effective way of developing new business contacts, building networks, marketing your products and keeping up to date with Anglo-Swedish business.

In addition, the Young Professionals (YP) section has approximately 350 Members (usually between the ages of 25 and 35) who are either studying or working in the UK. The YP offers the possibility to exchange knowledge about business in the UK and to extend ones social network.

On the Chamber’s website you can find further information about the organisation, its business services, a calendar of events and information on various marketing opportunities aimed at the Anglo-Swedish community.
