The Swedish Clean Development Mechanism (CDM)

Do you have a project that will help reducing global CO2-emissions? The Swedish Energy Agency is inviting Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project participants to submit proposals for delivery of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) to the Swedish CDM programme.

The Swedish CDM programme financially supports international greenhouse gas mitigation activities by purchasing CERs from CDM projects/programmes. Through this call, the Swedish Energy Agency intends to contract up to 10 million CERs generated within the eight years of the Kyoto Protocol’s second commitment period from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2020, on a forward basis with payment-on-delivery terms.

Contact the Swedish Energy Agency for more information.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has information on how to join the CDM-program.
