Sweden’s Ambassador to Indonesia Johanna Brismar Skoog stated, “Excellence in higher education and research is a core component to a competitive and innovative economy. Sweden ranks near the top when it comes to higher education and at the top when it comes to having an innovative economy. There is a rapid development in Indonesia towards a more innovative economy and there is an interest for Swedish solutions and practices. We have seen an increased flow of Indonesian students and PhD students going to Sweden in later years, and the Embassy has established a dedicated position with responsibility for a Study in Sweden program. We look forward to sharing our experiences and creating a solid platform for increased exchange and cooperation between our two countries. This visit is a great stepping stone for that.”
