Tourist visa

                       

When applying for a tourist visa for Sweden, you must submit all of the following documents.

Please note that it is important to submit all the required documents. Missing documents may cause rejection of the application.

1. Application for Schengen Visa, completely filled, signed and dated.

2. Two (2) photograph 35 x 40 mm in colour, not older than 6 months. The photograph must show full face and taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background. The photoghraphs must not be altered.

3. Passport and its copy of the page with biometric data and previous Schengen visas. The passport should be valid at least a further three (3) months after the date of expiry of the visa and shall contain at least two blank pages.

4. Extract of Turkish family book (nüfus) showing civil status, parents, spouse and children. The documents should not be older than three (3) months.

5. Evidence of purpose of the visit, hotel reservation, flight bookings or confirmation of organized tour.

6. Applicants should bring the suitable documents according to their occupation,

     For employees;
         - A letter from the employer stating employment and period of 
            granted time off
         - Social Insurance entry (SGK), SGK diary with barcode and 
            salary payment roll
         - Registry document of the Company
         - Circular of signatures
         - Tax document

     For employers;
         - Registry document of the Company
         - Circular of signatures
         - Tax document

     For pensioners;
         - Document prove your pension salary

     For students;
         - Student certificate

     For farmers;
         -
Farming document

7. Evidence of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay, besides the costs for hotel, at least 40 euro per day and person.

8. Written parental consent, in original, for minors (age under 18), when the minor is travelling only with one parent or alone. This document should be stamped by a Notary Public in Turkey.

9. Travel insurance with 30,000 euros coverage. The insurance should cover the whole planned travel period.

 

Note
An application can be submitted at the earliest 3 months before the planned trip.

A visa does not provide automatic permission to enter into the Schengen Area. It is up to the border control authorities to decide on the entry. It is therefore important that you, at the border, can present documents such as return ticket, insurance, means of support and hotel reservation.

Visa fee: 240.-TL. Visa fee for children age 6-12: 140.-TL. Children between age 0-6 are free of charge.
