In December, Team Sweden in Hong Kong – including the Consulate General, the Chamber of Commerce and Business Sweden – initiates #SwedenTalks_HK which is a platform for exchanges to cover important areas of mutual interests to Hong Kong and Sweden, such as innovation, creativity, design, culture and social values.
His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden will be in Hong Kong on 5-7 December to launch the first edition of #SwedenTalks_HK. He brings along two business delegations: one focusing on Design, the other on EdTech.
The purpose of the visit is to promote Swedish business and highlight Swedish interests in design and education. Sweden has a well-developed cooperation with Hong Kong when it comes to design and creativity, and the aim of HRH Prince Carl Philip's visit is to further deepen these relationships.
During the Prince's visit, he will meet with Chief Executive Carrie Lam, Financial Secretary Paul Chan and Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Edward Yau. In addition, he will be present at the inauguration of the Swedish Pavilion at DesignInspire – Business of Design Week and the inauguration of the photo exhibition "Swedish Dads" in Elements. Apart from that, the Prince will hold an opening remark at the BoDW seminar "Cultivating a Future Mindset – Creative Leadership". For official announcement, please read here.
