The Ambassador is responsible for conducting the ongoing dialogue with the Government of Belgium, especially concerning EU issues, and for promoting economic and cultural ties between Belgium and Sweden.

Please observe that visits to the Swedish consular services have to be pre-booked in advance by telephone call or email!
The Swedish Consular Services in Brussels will be closed the following Fridays during summer 2015 - for both phone calls and pre-booked visits: 17 July, 24 July, 31 July, 7 August, 14 August och 21 August.
In case of emergency weekdays after 16.00, Saturdays, Sundays or during holidays, please call: +(32) 2 289 5650, to the Emergency Call Center at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.
It is possible to collect (but not apply for) standard passports, national identity cards and driving licences. In case of emergency, the office is able to issue temporary passports. Please note contact information above in order to make an appointment.
