As from summer 2009 the Embassy of Sweden has a Counselor for Cultural Affairs.

This implies that the Swedish-Serbian cultural cooperation will be clearly prioritized. Therefore, during the next three years, the Embassy will work to work with innovative contemporary culture - in design, art, performing arts, photography, literature, music, etc.

The goal of the various projects that are to be implemented is establishing a sustainable development of the society and creating opportunities for creative meetings and collaborations across borders. The embassy will further promote exchanges and dialogue between people for longer periods - and therefore we would like to develop possibilities for exchange and residence activities.
