If you are not satisfied with the decision you have been given, you may have the right to appeal.

The appeal must be in writing, and must arrive at the embassy no later than three weeks after the date you received the decision.

The appeal must state:

  • Which decision you wish to appeal.
  • How you want the decision to be changed.
  • Your name, date of birth, postal address and telephone number.
  • Any circumstances or evidence/proof that you wish to add to your case.

If the embassy decides not to review the decision, the case is forwarded to the Migration Court in Sweden.
