On the 9th of December, Nigeria and EU launched a local dialogue on Human Rights, initiated as part of the political dialogue "Nigeria-EU Joint Way Forward".

Among the topics discussed by the sides was violence against women, extra-judicial killings, the death penalty and electoral rights. The sides also dwelled on how their cooperation on human rights...
