This is how RSS works
To receive an RSS feed, you need an RSS reader. The easiest solution is to download and install one of the free programs that work on ordinary PCs or Macs. Newer versions of the most common web browsers are also compatible with RSS, including Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 and Safari 2. Some email programmes can also handle RSS.

RSS is a simple way for you to keep up-to-date with the latest news without needing to visit the website.

Monitoring one or more RSS feeds allows you easy access to information regarding news and updates. As soon as new information matching your choice of RSS feeds is published on the website of the mission abroad, your RSS reader is also updated.

This is how you subscribe to an RSS feed

Click on one of the RSS feeds on the right under Contents. On the next page, choose 'subscribe' or the equivalent. The choice of term can vary depending on the browser you use.
