About the Embassy

Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Dublin, Ireland. The mission of the Embassy is to represent the Government of Sweden in Ireland and to promote relations between Sweden and Ireland.

The Embassy of Sweden in Dublin represents the Swedish government in the Republic of Ireland. The Embassy's overall mission is to strengthen the relations between Sweden and Ireland, both government to government, between citizens as well as companies and organisations in the two countries.

Our consular section has the responsibility to assist both Swedish citizens living/visiting Ireland, and Irish citizens, as well as third country nationals, who wish to visit Sweden.

Monday-Friday 09.30-13.00

General telephone hours:
Monday to Friday 08.30-13.00, 14.00-16.00

Opening hours for the passport section (when applying for and collecting Swedish passports):
Tuesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Visa Application hours:
Monday-Friday 09.30-12.30

Visa telephone hours:
Monday-Friday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
