Thai citizens are required to have a visa in order to be able to enter Sweden and other Schengen countries which include Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Hungary and Switzerland.A visa may be granted for a maximum of 90 days within a period of six months. The processing time is around 7 working days from the day of application. In some cases the applications may be sent to the Swedish Migration Board for decision. In such cases the processing time will be longer.If the visit is intended to be for a longer period than 90 days, an application for residence permit for visit must be submitted.
