Most of the tourists visiting Sweden are only going to the capital, Stockholm. Yet, this is not that surprising, considering the great amount of tourist attractions in the capital. However, Stockholm is only a small part of Sweden and for that reason the Embassy of Sweden in Moscow is this summer starting an information project about other cities and towns in Sweden. Under the heading “My Hometown”, I myself and the Embassy’s employees will try to open up peoples’ eyes for Sweden beyond Stockholm.
The first place to be described is my favourite Swedish town – Vaxholm. During the following weeks narratives about other cities will continuously be published.
