Sweden's Priorities for the EU Presidency

“Managing the financial crisis and unemployment and addressing climate change – these will be the two main priorities of the Swedish Presidency,” said Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt at a seminar on June 9 at CEPS in Brussels, where he spoke about the Swedish EU Presidency.

Sweden assumed the Presidency of the European Union on July 1, 2009.
