Residence permit- requirements for Iraqis and Syrians

RESIDENCE APPLICATIONS FOR IRAQIS- Required documents 

• Two Residence permit applications filled out completely and signed by the applicant.
• Two recent coloured photos according to the Embassy’s specifications (white background + clear face).
• Personbevis of the reference person.
• Family tree filled with all required information (Appendix D)
• Marriage contract in Arabic and translation of it legalised by the Ministry of Justice or Ministry for Foreign Affairs
• The Iraqi ID card translated and legalized by the Ministry of Justice or Ministry for Foreign Affairs
• The Iraqi Nationality Certificate translated and legalized by the Ministry of Justice or Ministry for Foreign Affairs
• Complete family registration (parents + siblings) translated and legalized by the Ministry of Justice or Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
• Legalisation of all the stamps from the ministries by the Embassy of Iraq in Damascus
• Valid passport with two copies of it for the information pages and any previous visas. 
• Death Certificate in case of the death of any of the spouses.
• For children, in case only one parent is applying, a court order showing the custody.

RESIDENCE APPLICATIONS FOR SYRIANS-Required documents

• Two Residence permit applications filled out completely and signed by the applicant.
• Three recent coloured photos according to the Embassy’s specifications (white background + clear face).
• Personbevis of the reference person.
• Family tree filled with all required information. (appendix D)
• Marriage contract in Arabic and translation of it legalised by the Ministry of Justice.
• Marriage certificate in Arabic issued by the Civil Register or Ministry of Interior. It should be translated and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Complete family registration (parents + siblings) in Arabic translated and legalized by the Ministry of Justice.
• Valid passport with two copies of it for the information pages and any pervious visas. 
• Copy of the ID card.
• Death Certificate in case of the death of any of the spouses.
• For children, in case only one parent is applying, a court order showing the custody.

All papers should be on paper A4 and  in two identical copies.
