About the Embassy

The Embassy is responsible for the development co-operation between Sweden and Vietnam, which is aimed at supporting Vietnam´s reform process, reducing poverty and promoting development towards democracy and increased respect for the human rights.

In the area of commerce and trade, the Embassy together with the Consulate General of Sweden in Ho Chi Minh City encourages exchanges between Sweden and Vietnam and assists companies from the two countries in finding new partners and possibilities for trade and investment.

Our consular and migration section has the responsibility to assist both Swedish citizens who are visiting Vietnam, and Vietnamese citizens who wish to visit Sweden.
