Schengen visa for journalists (only relevant for Ukrainian citizens)
The following documents are required:
Application for Schengen visa; completed in block letters, dated and signed.

One [1] coloured photograph, size 35x45 mm, recent and of true likeness, showing full face, taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background.
A certificate or another document issued by either “National Union of Journalists of Ukraine” (NUJU), “Independent Media Union of Ukraine” (IMUU), “Kyiv Independent Media Union” (KIMU), “Academy of Ukrainian Press” (AUP), or “Regional Press Development Institute” (RPDI), that proves that the applicant is a qualified journalist.
A document from the employer stating that the purpose of the trip is to perform journalistic work.
Proof (e.g. bank statement, travellers' cheques) of sufficient financial means for your upkeep and for the journey home. The Swedish authorities has decided that you need 40 Euro per day to support yourself during your stay in Sweden. This amount may sometimes be lower, if for instance food and accommodation are paid in advance. A letter in which the host in Sweden guarantees to provide for the visitor can in some cases be a sufficient proof.
Domestic passport and copies of it.
Passport or other travel document, signed and valid for at least three months after scheduled return and copies of its identification page and previous Schengen visas and stamps. Copies of all valid passports and old passports should be enclosed.
