No urgent handling of visa applications from December 19 - January 5
The Visa Chancellery will have limited possibility to handle urgent visa applications during Christmas and New Year.

Visa applications may be handed in at the Swedish visa facilitation centres – VFS. If you wish to apply directly to the Embassy you will first have to book an appointment, either through VFS or by applying electronically.Applications for residence and work permit can be handed in at the Visa Chancellery without appointment on Tuesdays 9.30 - 12.30.
Passports, decisions and residence permit cards(UT-cards) may be retrieved on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 16.00-16.30 and Fridays 09.30-12.30.
Otherwise the Visa Chancellery is closed to the public and is only receiving pre-booked applicants.
