Schengen visa for business trip / conference

The following documents are required:

• Consular fees / Categories that do not have to pay a visa fee.
  
  
• Application for Schengen visa; completed in block letters, dated and signed.

• One [1] coloured photographs, size 35x45 mm, recent and of true likeness, showing full face, taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background.
  
  
• An invitation from a Swedish company/organisation/legal person. The invitation has to contain the full name and address to the company/organisation/legal person, and the name and the position of the person who signs the invitation. The invitation also has to contain the following items for the invited person: Name and surname, date of birth, sex, citizenship, number of the passport, time and purpose of the journey, number of entries and name of minor children accompanying the invited person.

NB! If the purpose of the trip is to work, even if you are employed in Ukraine or in another country, you might also need a work permit. Also internchip/practise or similar (for example internal education or competence development requires work permit.

• Introduction letter from your employer including information about what you do, how long you have been working there, what your salary is and the purpose of the visit has to be presented. The letter has to contain contact information to the company, the name of the person signing as well as his/her signature. If you are a private entrepreneur you should submit the registration certificate for the company and declared income for the company.
  
  
• Proof (e.g. bank statement, travellers' cheques) of sufficient financial means for your upkeep and for the journey home. The Swedish authorities has decided that you need 40 Euro per day to support yourself during your stay in Sweden. This amount can sometimes be lower, if for instance food and accommodation are paid in advance. Also a letter in which the host in Sweden guarantees to provide for the visitor’s up-keep can in some cases be a sufficient proof.
  
  
• Domestic passport and copies of all 16 pages it.
  
  
• Passport or other travel document, signed and valid for at least three months after the scheduled return and copies of its identification page and previous visas and stamps. Copies of all valid passports and old passports should be enclosed.
