Schengen visa for truck drivers (only relevant for Ukrainian citizens)

Truck drivers that perform international conveyance of goods or passengers to and from Sweden/EU, with a vehicle registered in Ukraine, has to submit the following documents:

• Application for Schengen visa; completed in block letters, dated and signed.

• One [1] coloured photograph, size 35x45 mm, recent and of true likeness, showing full face, taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background.
  
  
• A written invitation either from “Association of International Road Carriers” (AsMAP), State Enterprise “Service on International Road Carriages” (SE “SIRC”), “Ukrainian Road Transport and Logistics Union”, or from “All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile carriers” (AAAC). In the invitation it should be stated the purpose of the trips, the length and the frequency.
  
  
• Introduction letter from your employer including your position, how long you have been working for the company, what your salary is and purpose of the visit. The letter should contain contact information to the company, the name of the person signing as well as his/her signature. If you are a private entrepreneur you should submit the registration
  certificate for the company.
  
  
• Proof (e.g. bank statement, travellers' cheques) of sufficient financial means for your upkeep and for the journey home. The Swedish authorities has decided that you need 40 Euro per day to support yourself during your stay in Sweden. This amount can sometimes be lower if, for instance cost of food and accommodation is paid in advance. A letter in which the host in Sweden guarantees to provide for the visitor can in some cases be a sufficient proof.
  
  
• Domestic passport and copies of all 16 pages it.
  
  
• Passport or other travel document, signed and valid for at least three months after scheduled return and copies of its identification page and previous Schengen visas and stamps. Copies of all valid passports and old passports should be enclosed.

NB! Truck drivers employed by companies that are not members of any of the above mentioned organisations also needs to hand in the following documentation:

• Invitation from the Swedish company, for which the transports should be made.
  
  
• A copy of work book and drivers license for the truck driver in original with copies.
