Environment Activities List in CA 2009/2010

The Environment Activities List is created to map out environment activities taking place mainly in the state of California.

The idea behind the list is to generate a better over all picture on ongoing activities in relevant environmental fields, to further explore and evaluate events that could be interesting to attend, and to create a better foundation for future planning. The events in this list are sorted in a chronological order after time and date. Each event contains information about the name of the event, the organizer, what type of event it is (e.g. conference, seminar, exhibition etc), a shorter description of the event, the location and contact information. Each event is also divided into a specific category, depending on which environment area it falls under. The categories may sometimes be a bit overlapping and some events may span over broad areas and therefore fall under more than one category. In these cases, the most suitable categories have been chosen. At the end, a list of links to agencies, associations, institutions and other relevant and valuable sources have been put together as a guide to seek further information.
