In 2007, Sida funded minor strategic activities in relation to dialogue, such as the Urban Poverty Initiative, the Dag Hammarskjöld Seminar at Africa University, and the International Women’s Day. For 2008, the Embassy of Sweden/Sida in Harare is in the process of stepping up its efforts on dialogue using tools such as direct support to dialogue between different actors, Swedish active participation in dialogue, and dialogue as a part of the ongoing development cooperation programmes. The following entry points has been identified: media; politics and parliament; urban poverty; peace and conflict; and gender. An action plan has been formulated to guide the implementation of the strategy and to trace results by the end of the period.
