Main objective

Establish dialogue between the Government of Zimbabwe and its traditional donors. Formulation of a recovery strategy and proposal for a way forward in the sensitive land reform matter. Defining key areas for national dialogue. Provision of technical expertise in the form of consultants and governance advisors, for facilitation of national dialogue.

Results

• A number of workshops and meetings organised by the National Association of NGOs (NANGO)including an NGO Directors Forum Meeting on the implementation  of the Global Political Agreement(GPA), a constitutional leadership conference, meetings with Government Ministries and political parties.
• NANGO policy postion papers on governance, economic and social development and on national healing and reconciliation.
• Podium discussions on poverty reduction organised by the Zimbabwe Economics Society
• Capacity building seminar on public-private partnerships with participation of ministers, business leaders, local government representatives, etc.
