Business/Conference Visa

An application for a visa must, as a rule, be lodged to the Embassy in person. The application can not be sent by e-mail, fax or regular mail and the application can not be lodged by anyone else apart from the applicant him- or herself. There is no need to have an appointment in order to apply. Applicants are welcome during the Embassy's visiting hours.

When applying for a business visa for Sweden, you must submit all of the following documents. Please note that all documents are required at the same time, otherwise your application can be rejected.

  • Application for Schengen Visa, completed, signed and dated

  • Receipt of paid application. The application fee (880 000 IRR) is paid in Pasargad Bank, account number 224-8100-20202020-1
  • Appendix A: Questionnaire for Applicants

  • Appendix D: Family Appendix for Applicants

  • Passport, valid for at least a further three months after the end of the trip. Including copies of all pages of the passport that are not blank

  • Shehnaznameh or cart Melli, original and two copies

  • Two [2] photographs [size 60 x 40 mm] for all applicants, including minors. Your photograph must be
    – colour photo,
    – recent, of true likeness and not retouched
    – showing full face
    – taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background
    Photographs that do not conform to these standards will be rejected and may cause delay in processing the application.

  • Invitation from a company or organization in Sweden containing the following details about you and the conference you are attending:
    - personal particulars
    - arrival and departure
    - the purpose of your visit
    - who will support you during your stay in Sweden

  • Company registration Certificate from Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket)

  • Introductory letter from Iranian employer including certificate showing  company registration

  • A valid, personal travel insurance which covers the total length of stay and at least 30,000 Euro. The insurance should be valid in all Schengen states.
